Records through Tuesday
1. Pasco (8-1): Since a loss to Zephyrhills, the Pirates have won three in a row by a combined 28 runs.
2. Springstead (10-2): Pitcher Alexis Adams averages almost 10 strikeouts per game, and her 16 RBIs are tied for the team lead.
3. Sunlake (9-2): Last week’s 5-3 win over River Ridge was the Seahawks’ most impressive victory of the year.
4. River Ridge (9-3): Royal Knights could make a statement with a win Thursday over Springstead.
5. Gulf (8-3): The Buccaneers have fared well this month with wins over Fivay and Ridgewood and can compete for the district title.
6. Hernando (7-5): The Leopards boast victories over Springstead, Gulf and Nature Coast.
7. Academy at the Lakes (7-2): Next week’s rematch with Hernando Christian will be a key game for Lauren Evans and the Wildcats.
