Standout performances from Tuesday night

Vanessa Mills, Pasco: The senior softball pitcher allowed four hits in a 4-1 victory over rival Zephyrhills. The win avenges the Pirates’ 8-7 loss to the Bulldogs this month.
David Dollbaum, Land O’Lakes: The freshman tennis player knocked off Leesburg in No. 2 singles (6-4, 6-2) and teamed with Colin Roller to earn an 8-1 victory in No. 1 doubles. The Gators earned a 6-1 win over a 14-win Yellowjackets team to improve to 13-2.
Louise Disi and Brooke Fischbach, Springstead: The freshmen each hit a home run in the Eagles’ 13-1 victory over Central. Fischbach, a catcher, blasted her third home run of the season and knocked in four runs. Disi, the first baseman, had her second high school home run and added five RBIs.
