Northeast volleyball coach Amanda McGowan was forced to cancel Monday's match against Boca Ciega and has already cancelled Wednesday's match against Largo after five of her players have been sidelined with various illnesses.

McGowan said that two of her players contracted swine flu, two others have bronchitis and a fifth has walking pneumonia.

The Vikings will attempt to resume play on Thursday when they host Lakewood.
