Northeast quarterback Ryan Davis has a hairline fracture in his wrist and will miss 4-6 weeks, Vikings coach Mike Jalazo said in a text message.

The injury happened in last week's 28-0 loss to St. Petersburg. Davis' left wrist (non-throwing) was hit in the game and will not require surgery according to Jalazo.

Davis, a freshman, is the younger brother of former St. Petersburg Catholic and FSU standout Chris Davis. Ryan was inserted as the starter the opening week and helped Northeast get off to a 2-0 start. But the last two weeks have been rough with the Vikings being outscored a combined 76-3 in losses to Boca Ciega and St. Petersburg.
