Northside Christian middle linebacker Max Massengill has signed a letter of intent to play football at Bethel University in McKenzie, Tenn.

Massengill has been a four-year starter for the Mustangs and also played tight end on offense. As a senior he had six touchdown catches and four interceptions.

Massengill also played three years of basketball and track before focusing on football for his senior year. He will play middle linebacker in college.
