Northside Christian running back Chris Culbreth made his college plans official by signing with Southwest Baptist University, a Div. II school in Bolivar, Missouri.
Culbreth, a second-team, all-county and honorable mention all-state selection, rushed for 1,624 yards and 20 touchdowns this past season.
"We feel like we got a steal getting the No. 1 running back in the Tampa/St. Pete region," Southwest Baptist coach Keith Allen said on the team's website. "We feel like Chris can be an impact player for us right away. His work ethic in high school will transfer into a great college player."
