At last week's Keswick Crusader Invitational, Northside Christian's Grant Rideout set a personal record in the pole vault, clearing 14 feet to win the event.

His mark ranks among the top five in the state regardless of classification according to Rideout attempted to vault 15 feet, 1 inch to break a long-standing school record but was unsuccessful.

This is the second time in the past two weeks that a Mustang track athlete set a personal record. On March 1, Katelyn Greenleaf won the 3,200 meters in 11 minutes, 32.79 seconds at the Winter Park Invitational.
