Northside Christian junior pitcher Jessica Anderson has committed to play softball at Campbell University, a Division I school in Buies Creek, N.C.

Anderson took unofficial visits to Towson, USF and Virginia before deciding on Campbell.

A varsity player since the sixth grade, Anderson has led the Mustangs to district titles in four of the past five seasons. As a freshman, she was a first-team, all-county and all-Suncoast selection and was a second-team pick on both squads as a sophomore. She had more than 120 strikeouts for last year's Class 2A region semifinalist Mustangs.
