Since his season ended last month, Clearwater point guard Cory Carden has been playing in all-star games and participating in showcase events.
He has picked up interest from colleges along the way.
Carden, a senior, has offers from Barry College (Rome, Ga.), Brewton Parker College (Mount Vernon, Ga.) and Emmanuel College (Boston, Ma.). He should make a decision by the ed of this week, Tornadoes coach Allen Carden said.
"Colleges are looking for true point guards and that's helped Cory out a lot," Allen Carden said.
Carden will join Okaro White, the Times county player of the year, as the two Clearwater players who have signed so far. Two other Tornadoes, Kevin Ciezczak and Matt O'Donnell, also could get offers within the next few weeks. If they sign, that will mean every senior from Clearwater's 2010 class will play in college.
