Troy Holston always dreamed of becoming a Division I-A basketball recruit, but now comes the hard part: narrowing his list of more than 30 suitors down to a manageable number.

The senior, a 6-foot-4, 175-pound shooting guard for Oldsmar Christian, said Wednesday he has whittled his impressive list of college offers, many picked up during a breakout summer, down to six schools.

On Holston's list: USF, Miami, Kansas State, Alabama, Marquette and Memphis. Miami, Alabama and Marquette all offered in the past three days.

Holston is expecting to make a decision this fall.
