Coppin State, a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) member located in Baltimore, Md., became the first Division-I basketball school to offer Oldsmar Christian senior Quentin Bastian a scholarship according to Eagles' coach Ryan Pannone.

Bastian, a 6-foot-6, 225-pound forward, plans to visit the Coppin State campus on April 16. He is also being recruited by the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Southern University, Longwood University, Bethune-Cookman and IUPUI.

Bastian currently holds an offer from D-II Lander University in Greenwood, S.C.
