The Osceola boys basketball team, which snapped a 53-game losing streak last season, won its first tournament title at the Shorecrest Holiday Tournament over the weekend.

The Warriors beat Citrus Park Christian 62-32  in the first round and the host Chargers 76-61 in the championship game.

Austin Floyd, a senior, was named tournament MVP. He scored a combined 40 points in two games, including 17 in the first quarter of the title to get Osceola off to a fast start. The Warriors are now 5-4.
