Osceola defensive back Austin Lawrence has signed to play at Jacksonville, Warriors coach George Palmer said.
Lawrence did a little bit of everything for Osceola last season, ranking among the team’s top rushers with a team-best eight interceptions. His performance was a big reason the Warriors were able to win six straight to clinch the runnerup spot in Class 6A, District 7.
Lawrence, a Times' all-county second-teamer, joins Admiral Farragut receiver Brad Hyman-Muhammad as county athletes who have signed with the Dolphins the past two weeks.
