Osceola's Cortez signs with Jacksonville

Osceola senior midfielder Alexi Cortez plans to sign a letter of intent to play for Jacksonville University on Feb. 1. Cortez is a four-year starter for the Warriors, who are the No. 1 seed in next week's Class 3A, District 10 tournament.

Cortez also plays club soccer for Tampa Bay United. He plans to major in bio chemistry in college.
