Palm Harbor University K/P Patrick McDonald has accepted an offer to play for Jacksonville University, PHU assistant Don Mesick said today. The 6-foot, 185-pound senior was a Times first-team all-county selection at punter in 2009. He also was a solid placekicker.

A Division I-AA program, Jacksonville went 7-4 last season and placed fourth in the Pioneer League. The Dolphins are coached by former Florida Gators QB Kerwin Bell.
