Paschal Youth Weekend on tap at Largo this weekend

Former Largo football standout Marcus Paschal will hold his third annual Paschal Youth Weekend starting Friday at Largo High.

The two-day event kicks off with a 7-on-7 tournament Friday at 7; admission is $5. The teams are Clearwater, Dixie Hollins, Dunedin, East Lake, Largo, Northeast, Pinellas Park and Seminole. Last year, the Eagles won the tournament.

Saturday, there is a city clean-up followed by a free youth camp at Largo High.

Paschal, who played at Iowa and with the Baltimore Ravens, is an assistant with the Packers and started the youth event to give back to the community.
