Pasco kicker Brennan Allen has been named a Parade All-American notable nominee.

Allen is expected to sign a letter of intent this morning with Iowa Western Community College. He had interest from Purdue as late as Monday, but a scholarship offer wound up going to another kicker. He also had interest from N.C. State, Bethune-Cookman and Florida International.

Allen scored 40 extra points and made seven field goals. He also had 37 touchbacks and averaged 35 yards per punt.

Allen had a strong showing at the Chris Sailer kicking camp in Las Vegas last month, which helped drum up interest from some bigger schools.
