Pasco K Brennan Allen finally made decision regarding college.
The Pirates' standout will walk on at Charleston Southern with the understanding he'll be put on scholarship after one season.
Allen had a similar offer from Georgia Southern, but the prospect of competing with six kickers for a scholarship was far from the financial guarantee he will get at Charleston Southern.
Allen also considered playing at Wisconsin Lutheran.
"It's a Division I-AA. He gets to walk on the first year and they gave them a guarantee he would get the next four under scholarship," Pasco coach Tom McHugh said. "Based on what the coaches are saying he'll probably kick off this year."
Allen routinely boots field goals in 50-yard range and beyond, and consistently crushed kickoffs for touchbacks. Allen often provided the Pirates with great field position or key points.
