Pasco athlete Mike Clower has signed with Ellsworth Community College according to Pirates head coach Tom McHugh.

Clower was a significant contributor for Pasco both at wide receiver and defensive back. In helping the Pirates go 10-1, win a district title and advance to the Class 3A region semifinals, Clower had 23 receptions for 658 yards, an average of 29 yards every time he caught the ball. Clower scored eight receiving touchdowns.

On defense, Clower intercepted three passes, caused two fumbles and recovered another. He registered 28 tackles and a sack. Also a dangerous kick returner, Clower averaged 35 yards, including a long of 67 yards, on nine attempts.

Clower was an all-North Suncoast first team selection as a defensive back following the 2010 season. He was a second team all-Sunshine Athletic Conference pick as a wide receiver and a corner.

Ellsworth Community College is located in Iowa Falls, Iowa, and plays in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.
