Pasco's Zachery Hutcheson signs with Bethel

Pasco offensive lineman Zachery Hutcheson signed this morning with Bethel University, a NAIA program located in McKenzie, Tenn.

The 6-foot-2, 245 pound Hutcheson was one of the leaders of an offensive line that paved the way for over 2,200 yards rushing and 2,200 passing from Pasco this season. The Pirates completed a 10-0, undefeated regular season, winning district and SAC titles, before beating Lakewood 27-20 in the Class 3A region quarterfinals and losing to Jefferson 41-14 in the regional semifinals.

Hutcheson was a first-team All-Sunshine Athletic Conference selection following a standout senior season. He garnered honorable mention status on the St. Petersburg Times' All-North Suncoast team in 2010.

At Bethel, Hutcheson is projected to play offensive tackle.

The Bethel Wildcats finished 5-5 last season. In Mid-South Conference play, they were 3-3.
