At The Villages, Carrollwood Day senior Billy Embody threw four touchdown passes and caught a 61-yarder from Deuce Gruden in the Patriots' 61-21 romp Saturday of Winter Garden's Foundation Academy.

The contest was part of a round-robin series of games held Saturday to determine overall finishes in the independent Sunshine State Athletic Conference. CDS' triumph clinched second place.

Playing virtually the whole game without top rusher Darius Bing, who exited with a first-quarter injury, the Patriots (9-1) leaned on a host of contributors on both sides.

Senior Michael Kanter had two of Embody's TD catches and added an 85-yard kick return for a TD. Sophomore Dillon Floyd had three interceptions.
