Penn offers Springstead OT Will Allen

The latest: The Eagles senior picked up his second Ivy League offer on Wednesday, earning a chance to play at Penn.

“The University of Pennsylvania extended my second Ivy league offer today,” Allen said in a Tweet. “I don't think this will ever sink in. ‪#studentathlete”

Allen visited Vanderbilt recently and also has an Ivy offer from Harvard.

We say: Allen is one of the North Suncoast’s top linemen. He’s received interest from UCF, USF, FSU and others after dropping about 50 pounds in the offseason.
