Northside Christian senior Heather Percival surpassed 1,000 points in her career after a solid showing at the Lady Mustang Invitational over the Holidays. Against Seminole in the opening game, Percival scored 21 points to break the 1,000 point barrier.

In the championship against Countryside, she scored 13 points in a 42-35 win. She was named the tournament's most valuable player.
