PHU's Rachel Ionata signing with Baltimore-Maryland

Palm Harbor University pitcher Rachel Ionata is signing with Maryland-Baltimore County.

This season, Ionata emerged as a solid second starter, going 9-0 with a 2.30 ERA. Two of her wins have come in tournament championship games.

She is signing on Thursday in the school’s teacher auditorium.
