Baseball super seven
1. East Lake (11-1):
Eagles are doing all the little things right. A big PCAC game against Countryside awaits Friday.

2. Seminole (10-3): By his own admission, Seminole coach Jeff Pincus still hasn’t figured his team out. There have been big wins, but there was also a loss to St. Petersburg.

3. Clearwater Central Catholic (12-1): The Marauders head down to Miami for a pair of games this weekend. So far, they have pitching, hitting and defense.

4. Countryside (10-2): The Cougars have won six straight after a close loss to Seminole. The pitching duo of Jake Mielock and Charlie Skantze has been solid.

5. Calvary Christian (10-3): Since losing badly to CCC, the Warriors have rebounded with five straight wins. They’ll be tested at the Dunedin tournament next week.

6. Pinellas Park (10-5): PCAC south champions have enough pitching to scare some traditional powers this season. If the hitting gets consistent, the Patriots could be trouble down the stretch.

7. Dunedin (7-5): This may not be one of the more dominant Dunedin teams, but consider four of the losses were by one run. If the Falcons can get the offense going they could get hot.
