Game Wednesday against Clearwater was Eagles’ first since Pinellas Park marathon two weeks ago.
2. Pinellas Park (13-2): Of Taylor Klinesmith’s 14 hits this season, nine have been doubles.
3. Seminole (9-3): Warhawks defeated Tarpon Springs and Clearwater by a combined 31-1 in past two wins.
4. Palm Harbor University (12-2): Hurricanes are on a four-game win streak heading into their annual tournament this weekend.
5. Countryside (8-6): Cougars dropped their first district game 4-2 to Sarasota Riverview last Friday.
6. Canterbury (9-2): Crusaders have been off since Saturday because of school-wide class trips.
7. St. Petersburg Catholic (9-3): Barons took second place at Seffner Christian tournament last weekend, losing to Space Coast 4-0 in the final.
