Pinellas Park boys hoops schedules Lupus fundraiser

Pinellas Park's boys basketball team is donating all proceeds of Friday's home game against Northeast to the local chapter of the Lupus Foundation.

The Patriots plan on selling T-shirts and will have a booth set up by the Lupus Foundation.

This past summer, Pinellas Park coach Jon Cabino found out his brother, Robert was diagnosed with the disease.

"That gave me the idea to do this," Cabino said. "I just want to do what I can to help raise money and find a cure for this."
