Of all the things Pinellas Park's seniors experienced during the recruiting process, the waiting seemed to be the hardest part.
The wait is finally over.
Nearly two months after national signing day, the Patriots had a signing frenzy with six players deciding on schools, many of whom will continue playing together.
Oraian Bentley, Travontae Butler, Valentino Pittman and Kylieel Robinson all signed with Merced College in California, Pinellas Park coach Kenny Crawford said.
Two others, Tony Murphy and Cody Nowakowski, signed with College of the Redwoods, also in California.
They all helped the Patriots go 5-5 and stay in the playoff hunt until the final district game this past season.
