Pinellas Park's Blackshear signs with Reedley College

Pinellas Park defensive back Kha'zorey Blackshear signed with Reedley College in California, Patriots coach Ken Crawford said.

Blackshear provided blanket coverage for the Patriots and helped them reach the playoffs for the first time in a decade. He intercepted seven passes this past season, was an all-conference selection and played in the senior all-star game.

Reedley recruits heavily in Florida. Blackshear, though, is currently the only player from the bay area on the 2012 roster.
