Pinellas Park defensive back Pierre Johnson picked up his first offer from Wofford College, Patriots coach Kenny Crawford said.

Johnson, a first-team, all-county selection last fall, has a 3.98 weighted GPA and scored 23 on the ACT. He has received interest from multiple schools this spring but no offer surfaced until this week.

“This should pretty much get the ball rolling with this first offer,” Crawford said. “I’ve heard from a lot of schools, and Pierre should have quite a few more offers by the end of the week.”
