All meets start today with weigh-ins at 10 a.m. and the first round at noon; Saturday, weigh-ins are also at 10 a.m. and the finals at 6 p.m.

Class 3A, Region 2

Where: Osceola High, Kissimmee

Outlook: Unless an unimaginable upset occurs, Brandon should come away with the team title. The Eagles, who dominated the 3A-6 district tournament less than a week ago, have the No. 1-ranked team in Class 3A, according to Scout.com, and a plethora of wrestlers ranked in the top 20, including Kevin Norstrem (125), Rossi Bruno (130), Tyler Liberatore (135), Clark Glass (152), Wally Figaro (160), Kyle Koziel (171) and Mike Ettore (189). Countryside’s Ryan Hartman (119) and Palm Harbor University’s Aaron Hartman (130) have the best chances of any Pinellas County wrestlers of escaping one of the toughest regions in the state and moving onto Lakeland.

Wrestlers to watch: Ryan Hartman, Countryside (119); Aaron Hartman, Palm Harbor U. (130); Dylan Gouletas, East Lake (145); Mitchell Larivee, Seminole, (152); Charles McDaniel, Countryside (160); Jared Stippert, Palm Harbor U. (215); Dennis Homol, Pinellas Park (215)

Class 2A, Region 2

Where: South Florida Community College, Sebring

Outlook: After taking home their second straight 2A-8 district title last weekend, the Falcons are looking to send several wrestlers to Lakeland. Dunedin’s Shaun Shakoor (112) was upset by Sunlake’s John Ortiz last weekend and the two may meet again in Sebring. Many Falcons will run into stiff competition from state powerhouse Springstead, as the Eagles feature 10 wrestlers ranked in Scout.com’s top 20.

Wrestlers to watch: Kane Plate, Dunedin (135); Austin Prince, Dunedin (140); Kyle Goodnow, Dunedin (160); Mike Hogan, Dunedin (171); RJ Luth, Dunedin (215)

Class 2A, Region 3

Where: Port Charlotte High, Punta Gorda

Outlook: Largo brings in its most talented team in years with several wrestlers who should come away with region crowns, including Clarence Longley (135), who is ranked third in Class 2A. There are plenty of other county wrestlers who should make a run at region titles, including Dixie Hollins’ Dana Harrington (34-2 at 125) and Boca Ciega’s De’Jhaun Monroe (103). The Packers have a good opportunity to also take home a team title Saturday evening.

Wrestlers to watch: De’Jhaun Monroe, Boca Ciega (103); Jared Ballew, Largo (103); Dana Harrington, Dixie Hollins (125); Jordan McKenzie, Dixie Hollins (130); Clarence Longley, Largo (135); James Bueno, Dixie Hollins (135); Cody McKinnon, Largo (140); Josh Jeffries, Largo (145)

Class A, Region 3

Where: Southeast High, Bradenton

Outlook: This region features the most county wrestlers and Northside Christian leads the way. Northside’s Dennis brothers should take their respective weight classes at 130 and 135, but also watch for Lakewood’s Cole Hardman (119) and Kenny Price (171) to move on to state. Clearwater Central Catholic’s Ian Ryan and Northside’s Cliff Barker may face off this weekend in the 145-pound bracket. Look for Northside to possibly come away with a title and send at least six to state.

Wrestlers to watch: Kamen Wilmington, Northside Christian (103); Cole Hardman, Lakewood (119); Marty Mline, CCC (119); Brian Travis, Northside Christian (125); Jordan Christopher, CCC (125); Dryden Dennis, Northside Christian (130); Dalton Dennis, Northside Christian (135); Anthony Melillo, Northside Christian (140); Cliff Barker, Northside Christian (145); Ian Ryan, CCC (145); Zane May, Northside Christian (152); Jason Piquette, Northside Christian (160); Kenny Price, Lakewood (171); Justin Lewandowski, CCC (189); Blaine Ward, Admiral Farragut (215)
