Times’ softball super 7
Records through Tuesday
1. Palm Harbor University (17-2): Impressive run for the Hurricanes with two wins against district rival East Lake and tournament title in Sarasota.
2. Countryside (13-3): Offense keeps producing big numbers in wins over Seminole, Northeast and East Lake in the past week.
3. East Lake (14-6): Needs to bounce back during tough stretch after two losses to Hurricanes and one to Countryside.
4. Seminole (9-5): Stumbling a little bit after losses to Countryside and St. Petersburg this past week.
5. Canterbury (9-4): Crusaders relying on pitching and timely hitting to stay at the top in its district.
6. Osceola (14-6): Once potent offense is slumping with losses to East Lake and Dunedin in past week.
7. St. Petersburg (8-4): Came through with win vs. Warhawks that helped erase memories of some frustrating finishes in the past two weeks.
On the bubble: Boca Ciega (8-3), St. Petersburg Catholic (8-3).
