Plant City junior tight end Jordan Prestwood is making an unofficial visit to Notre Dame this weekend to take in the Fighting Irish's game against USC, Raiders coach Jason Strunk said.
Strunk said the Irish visited Prestwood Saturday morning. The 6-foot-6 junior has been on Notre Dame's radar since the summer when he attended camp there.
He hasn't received an offer from Notre Dame yet, but he owns offers from USF and FIU. He is also being recruited by Auburn and South Carolina.
Prestwood was recently named to ESPNU's 150 Watch List for the Class of 2011.
Prestwood has 13 catches for 143 yards and 2 touchdowns this season.
