Plant senior defensive back Javonte Martin, who suffered a concussion two weeks ago, was cleared to play Wednesday, Plant coach Robert Weiner said.

Weiner said they would still play it safe with Martin. He didn't practice Wednesday.

"We're going to be very careful with him," Weiner said. "If he wasn't cleared, then it's out of your hands, but now that he's been cleared, he'll meet with the trainers and we'll probably make a decision Thursday."

Martin has made 13 tackles in three games and had an interception in Plant's win over Jefferson.

The Panthers (4-1) travel to 6-0 Spoto Friday.
