Richy Klepal, OL, Plant (6-foot-5, 285 pounds)

The latest: As Plant practiced under the lights Wednesday night at Dads Stadium, coaches from Tennessee, Oklahoma, Florida, Stanford, South Carolina and Miami observed from the sidelines. "And they were all there to see Richy," Panthers coach Robert Weiner said. Klepal ended the night with two new offers -- one from the Gamecocks and the other from the Hurricanes.

Offers: The list is full of quantity and quality, with more than 20 schools and the likes of Florida State, Miami USF, UCF, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Missouri and Mississippi State.

Last season: Klepal lined up at right tackle for the Panthers (14-1), who averaged 207.3 rushing yards en route to the Class 8A state title.

We say: Klepal is the top Class of 2013 offensive lineman in Tampa Bay and is ranked as the 18th-best prospect overall by the Times.

They say: Klepal is rated a four-star prospect by Rivals.com.
