Tickets for Friday night's highly anticipated season finale between Plant (8-1) and Robinson (9-0) on the Knights' campus in Port Tampa go on sale to the general public starting Wednesday at both schools.

Tickets can be purchased Wednesday through Friday at the Robinson High cafeteria from 10:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., athletic director Marcia Monk announced. They'll also be available at the Plant driver's education range Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Plant AD Laura Figueredo said.

Tickets are $5 each. They'll also be on sale at the ticket booth of Jack Peters Field -- Robinson's home stadium -- Thursday night from 6-7:30 p.m.

The contest, pitting whom many deem the county's top two teams against each other, kicks off Friday at 7:30 p.m. Robinson will try and clinch its first undefeated regular season since 1963 in the final regular season home game of Coach Mike DePue, who is retiring at the end of the school year.
