Plant girls No. 1 singles tennis player Amber Li is just beginning her junior season, but appears heading to play college tennis at an Ivy League school.
Li, who led the Panthers to their first state team title by winning the Class 3A No. 1 singles title last year, will make an unofficial visit to Yale in mid-March, Plant coach Lynn Vu said. Li is also planning a visit to Harvard in April.
Last year, she visited Princeton.
Vu said she believes Li will make her college decision by this summer.
Li likely wont play in Plant's season opener against Tampa Bay Tech while nursing an ankle injury.
