Plant senior safety/wide receiver Eric Dungy already owns scholarship offers from USF and FIU, but Panthers coach Robert Weiner said another prominent state school is gaining interest.

Dungy, the son of former Bucs and Colts coach Tony Dungy, is receiving serious interest from Florida State, Weiner said.

Dungy has 37 tackles, 4 interceptions and 2 fumble recoveries on defense. On offense, Dungy has 19 catches for 241 yards and 1 touchdown.

Weiner said the 6-foot-2, 180-pound Dungy is being recruited as a safety in college.
