Plant's Phillip Ely is competing this week in the prestigious national ESPN Rise Elite 11 Quarterback Camp in Aliso Viejo, Calif.

Ely, who helped the Panthers to their third state title in four years and will enter this fall with a 19-0 record as a starter, was one of 12 seniors selected for the camp, which pits the top passers in various skill drills. Ely's predecessor, current Georgia QB Aaron Murray, attended the camp two summers ago and came away with the MVP award. Ely owns scholarship offers from the likes of LSU, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt.

The field also includes Miami Northwestern star and Miami commit Teddy Bridgewater and Oviedo Hagerty quarterback and UF commit Jeff Driskel.

The four-day camp runs through Thursday.
