Only a sophomore, Plant shooting guard Michael Frazier is averaging a robust 25 points per game for the 6-6 Panthers.
Not surprisingly, several colleges have noticed this.
One of them -- Ohio -- already has offered the 6-foot-3 standout a scholarship.
According to Plant coach Mike Phillips, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia and USF are also keeping close tabs on Frazier.
“It’s above strong interest (for those schools),” Phillips said. “Those are the major players right now.”
You can catch Frazier today at Plant, when the Panthers play North Port at 6:30 p.m. in the Florida Elite Series, which is being held in conjunction with the Tampa Hoops Classic.
