A few quick recruiting updates on National Signing Day Eve:

Jefferson WR/DB Chavez Pownell has orally committed to Wyoming. He made his announcement Tuesday evening on WFLA.

The 5-foot-10, 190-pound senior was an all-county cornerback this season. Pownell led the 10-2 Dragons with 809 receiving yards and five interceptions. He finished with six touchdown catches and 64 tackles.

Florida State became the latest school to offer Freedom junior DE Scott Patchan, he announced via Twitter. Miami, USF and Penn State are among the other programs after the four-star prospect.

Marshall recently gave two Tampa Bay juniors their first offers: East Bay DE Marques Ford and Wiregrass Ranch LB Jaye Miner.
