Plant City junior Jordan Prestwood received his latest scholarship offer Thursday -- coming from Florida State.
The 6-foot-6, 260-pound Prestwood has emerged as one of the area's top recruits for next year. He's being recruited mostly as an offensive tackle, but some schools are scouting him as a tight end.
Plant City coach Jason Strunk also said Alabama and USC have recently shown serious interest in Prestwood.
He already owns offers from Notre Dame, West Virginia, Auburn, South Carolina, Purdue, USF and UCF, among others.
