Plant City senior Erika Kolakowski, who won the 800 meters at today's Vernon F. Korhn County Championships, confirmed that she will attend Auburn on an academic scholarship and run track for the Tigers.

The school's valedictorian, Kolakowski has received a National Merit Scholarship and is expected to receive a partial athletic scholarship as well.

She won today's 800 in 2:17.56, eclipsing her previous county-best time by more than a second.
