Two non-football recruiting updates from the North Suncoast:

Fivay golfer Jacob Schoonover plans to attend Thomas University (Ga.) on a golf scholarship, the school announced this week. The Falcons haven’t set a date for his ceremony yet. He earned second-team all-North Suncoast honors as a senior.

Former Hudson basketball star Richey Williams has landed at Trinity College at the start of the semester, Cobras coach Jason Vetter said. He was the Sunshine Athletic Conference’s player of the year for the west side in 2011. The guard ranks sixth in Cobras history with 1,006 points.
