A few recruiting notes from this weekend:

* Two Riverview athletes plan to sign Monday afternoon, the school announced. Kierra Haywood will sign to play basketball at Florida State College. The 6-foot-1 senior post led the Sharks in scoring (19.5 points per game), rebounding (13.9) and blocks (3.3). She was a Hillsborough County all-star and took Riverview to the Class 8A, District 7 championship.

Classmate Kylee White will sign to play soccer at Southeastern University. She was also a Hillsborough all-star as a senior.

* Pasco basketball standout Ashley Webster announced her oral commitment to Thomas University, an NAIA program in Georgia. The 6-foot-1 senior center averaged 10.4 points and 9.9 rebounds per game for the Class 5A, District 7 champion Pirates. She also helped Pasco reach the region finals as a junior.

* Jefferson LB Kyle Walker recently signed with Ave Maria University, the Dragons announced. The 5-foot-11, 225-pound senior had 105 tackles last fall and finished his prep career with 220. He also had four sacks and a fumble recovery as a senior.

* Fivay RB Davion Sutton and former Falcon ATH Willis Reeves will both continue their football careers at Gattaca, a prep school/juco program affiliated with Hillsborough Community College. Sutton was one of the North Suncoast’s most talented backs. He finished his high school career with 21 total touchdowns and almost 2,000 rushing yards.
