Some quick recruiting updates from the North Suncoast:

Springstead OL Will Allen is continuing to get interest from USF and expects to get an offer after Bulls coaches see him practice in person. The 6-foot-7, 293-pound Allen is also being recruited by UCF, Florida State and Florida. Rutgers has started to pursue one of the North Suncoast’s top linemen.

Springstead ATH Luke McLeod will visit Georgia Tech this weekend, Eagles assistant coach Dustin Kupcik said. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound junior has also received interest from UCF and Missouri.

Sunlake ATH Eddie Burgos and lineman Nick Hoffman have been invited to junior days at FIU and FAU, Seahawks coach Bill Browning said.  Burgos, a speedy, 5-foot-11, 170-pound junior, had five TD catches last fall and won the county’s weightlifting meet in the 183-pound weight class.

Hoffman, a 6-foot-3, 245-pound junior was a key contributor to an offensive line that was among the best in the North Suncoast.
