A few quick recruiting nuggets from Wesley Chapel, courtesy of former Wildcats coach Ben Alford:

* Lineman Aleny Vega is receiving interest from Becker College (Mass.), among others.

* RB Daquan Caesar has drawn looks from Missouri Valley College and others after leading the team with 671 yards on 125 carries. The powerful 165-pound runner earned honorable mention all-North Suncoast honors this fall.

* DB Chris Ayers is strongly considering playing football at The Apprentice School, a Virginia college that provides skills training and allows athletes a chance to work while studying.

* ATH Jordan Primus has a handful of junior colleges from Kansas and California recruiting him. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound athlete was one of Wesley Chapel’s most important players this fall, spending time at quarterback (two TD passes) and on defense. He was second on the team with 330 rushing yards and four TDs and was the team’s leading receiver (222 yards).
