Right-handed pitcher Nick Bodner orally committed to play baseball at Johns Hopkins, Jesuit coach Richie Warren said Monday.

Bodner, a 6-foot-2, 175-pound senior, is the 10th Tiger and sixth Jesuit pitcher to commit to a Division I baseball program.

Last season, Jesuit finished 27-4 and fell to Ponte Vedra, the eventual 5A state champion, in the state semifinal. Jesuit's 2014 campaign will begin Feb. 6 in a game against Winter Haven.
