TRINITY -- Mitchell football coach Brian Wachtel said Wednesday that star tailback Ricky Trinidad is questionable for Friday's district game against Pasco because he has a sore back.

"He tweaked it last week (against Sunlake)" Wachtel said.

Trinidad, a junior, has not practiced this week. According to Wachtel, it will be a gametime decision as to whether Trinidad plays.

Trinidad has rushed for 1,192 yards this season. If he can't play, Freddie Jones will start in his place.

Mitchell is 8-0.
