Interviews for the Ridgewood boys basketball vacancy will be held Wednesday.

All four applicants are expected to interview with a final decision Friday. They are Mike Bua, Shaun Haggerty, Stephen Bianco and John Larry.

The vacancy opened when Ridgewood icon Gary Anders resigned after 31 seasons with 560 victories. At this point, the opening will be a supplemental position only because Ridgewood is expected to lose roughly 20 teaching positions with the opening of Fivay this fall.

Bua, who is on Ridgewood's staff, was an assistant under Anders the past few seasons. If Ridgewood principal Andy Frelick is adament about having his coach on campus, Bua seems to be the front runner.

Haggerty is a JV coach at Tampa Bay Tech. Bianco was an assistant with the Sunlake girls JV and lists  Trinity College among his coaching experience.
